Wow, everything we ordered was fantastic: Scotch Egg, Irish Nachos, grilled chicken sandwich, venison patty melt, and Mac and cheese. Our server was fantastic, though the host gave us and another party a hard time for "outside food or drink " when we hadn't finished our morning coffee(the other group had a refillable water bottle kinda odd". We sat outside for about 15 minutes, it was a nice day, so I won't knock them for it. Just be aware if you're visiting.

The Rock Candy short ribs melt in your mouth. Makes you want to slap yo mama. You can get them in the sweet potato waffle fries poutine (bottom dish in photo) or separately as an entree'. Either way, you want them! Our server, Erin S. was wonderful.

We met family here for a casual lunch after Christmas. We had a party of 5. I reserved a table online which was nice to be able to do. Upon arrival the restaurant was empty. We appeared to be the only people there. Our wait staff was nice enough, service was mediocre. Nothing stood out as either bad or exceptional. The menu was eclectic. We ordered the pork belly egg rolls as an appetizer, which did not arrive until after our meal. Three of our party ordered the Washoe Burger, which looked good. All three at the end of the meal indicated the hamburger was not good. They indicated the flavor was off and tasted bitter. All three indicated they would not order again. One ordered the Short Rib Grilled Cheese, which happened to be the best choice with our party. He indicated it was good and he would order again. I ordered the Pork Belly Bahn Mi with sweet potato fries. I prefer pork belly a little more cooked although it was good. The aoli sauce on the sandwich made it. I had not tried kimchi before and it added a nice touch to the sandwich. The sweet potato fries were good but about half of what was served were overcooked. We had to pay for metered parking on the street outside the location. You could also park at the courthouse parking which was a block away and on the weekends is free. Overall it was just an okay experience. With multiple choices in Reno and Midtown I dont know that we would go here again.

One of the best local restaurants! WPH has great food and is always highlighting fun and new entrees. We recently tried Camel and it was amazing. From walking into the door, to finishing up, every part is designed to provide exceptional customer experience.

Neat little spot. Food was tasty. LARGE portions. We ordered appetizers (Irish fries with pork belly) Pork belly egg rolls, The tempura prawns for appetizers. And the venison patty melt ( can not use my opinion I do not eat gamey meat. He said it was good.) And the Rock Candy Ribs grilled cheese. The house salad was a bed of mixed greens, spectacular strawberries and thin sliced almonds with their lemon vinegarette. Very very good. And we brought home a lot of leftovers! Service was great also. They have happy hour cocktail prices and small plates of some menu items as well. Recommended for sure. Sorry about the melt and grilled cheese pics. Realized we had not taken a photo after we were enjoying the meal 😬
