I've been eating at (or in) the bar here for YEARS. The food is solid and consistent, and some menu items rise to the level of being truly delicious. I'm a huge fan of the Piranha Pale Ale, which brings me back in if it's been a while. But the best part is the staff. There are some longtime servers and bartenders that go out of their way to make people feel welcome, acknowledge the regulars, and just provide great service overall. A particular shout-out to Valerie, Pamela, Liza, Kim, and Ted in that regard, who we most often get to sit with. They're great! But there are many others who also do a fantastic job.

BJ's is a great spot to grab a beer (or two). I enjoy my experience every time I visit. Both locations are solid. I recommend checking the busy times, it can get packed quickly. Aside from that, the beers they craft are always on point. Especially their Jeremiah Red. I recently visited the Reno location, the bartender Gabe C. was chill, prompt, and attentive. Great service and inviting. Thank you bro! And thanks for the heads up on the new Japanese Rice Lager coming soon - can't wait to try.

My family and I sincerely enjoyed our time at BJs. Even though we had gone on a Saturday at a busy time, our server Brigette was so polite and speedy with our order. Our orders were taken in a timely manner and she accommodated any of our requests with haste. All of us enjoyed the meal itself as well. I would absolutely come back for another good time.

I will tell you why i gave one star. I usually enjoy coming to this place but tonight I brought my three year-old at 5:45 in the evening we ordered a kids pasta and one appetizer which was the Aji poke, which is literally just fish and avocado. You don’t even have to cook it after waiting over 45 minutes and asking for the food twice I finally had to take it to go because he was getting so upset and hungry that we couldn’t even sit there anymore. This is an absolute joke. I worked in the Restaurant industry for nine years. I would never let a three-year-old sit there for 45 minutes and not give him his food. I’m actually really disappointed. The server was very nice, but really really disturbing. I don’t know who lets a three-year-old sit there for 45 minutes waiting for a tiny little plate of penne pasta. and I still left 18% because like I said, she seemed very sweet.

I'd been to this restaurant YEARS before and it was great; not anymore. Lunch on a Saturday was winding down so there was no reason for slow service. They now serve your food on a metal tray with a piece of parchment paper on it. That's ok, but the tray was sticky. Speaking of sticky, the booth was sticky, the table was sticky, the divider wall was sticky and looked like things have been splashed on it for years. Food was okay, just had a bacon burger (they did cook it to my preference). My friend ordered the chicken club, asked for cheese and ranch for her fries. She got no cheese and had to remind the waiter about her ranch. Spilled liquid under a table next to us never got cleaned up (we were there for 2 hours). Just a complete let down. They need to shut down and do a deep clean on this place or have a deep clean done at night. I won't be back. :(
