I’ve been living in Reno for around 4 years. This place has mastered ambiance! You can tell from the photos/video that they have created something special. I came on a Sunday and they have a local baker selling baked goods which seems to be flying off the shelves. They also have a DJ spinning vinyl which only adds a bit of flavor. I think I found my new favorite coffee shop!

I've walked up and down, to and fro, from hither to hitherto. Hands down best coffee shop downtown. One of the owners was asked to Dj for Krs-One!? Do you even have the style and class to understand what that means!?! If not, then you probably don't get coffee here, and that's on you. Serving up quality beans with care and precision. If that doesn't mean anything to you, consider your life choices and I'll spoil the ending for you ....they weren't the best. Chrome coffee works is the best Coffee within an uncle Rico football throw. He could throw it over the mountain in case your plebian sense of pop culture can't keep up. Get some coffee, buy some mech, admire the space and take hold of the attention to detail in each. They will make ALL of your wildest dreams come true.

If competition is steep the fundamentals are important. I asked for an espresso for here and they splashed a very sour espresso into a tall paper to-go cup. It's nice they don't have to do dishes but this skips out on a big part of the cafe experience. The interior vibe is a good hang at least.

As someone who has visited countless coffee shops, I have to say this one has some serious room for improvement. While the coffee itself is passable (though it’s not much of a choice in this area), the service and quality left a lot to be desired. I ordered a simple double espresso over ice. My husband ordered a brewed coffee, and his came out immediately, as it seemed prepped. However, mine took quite a while. I noticed an iced coffee sitting on the counter, unclaimed for a while, and wondered if my order was somehow being delayed due to a misunderstanding or a difference in how they make iced espresso drinks. When I went up to the pickup station to inquire, I tried to politely ask the barista (who had black long hair) about my order. Before I could even finish my question, she rudely interrupted me, with a dismissive “What?” I tried again, explaining my order calmly, but she cut me off once more, saying “What?! There are people in front of you.” At this point, she completely ignored me. I understand that it can get busy, but a basic level of courtesy and respect should always be expected. Indeed, it was not busy! She then put my drink in the counter table without saying a word, and when I noticed there was barely any ice, I kindly asked for a refill. She grabbed the cup, asked if that was enough with only half the cup filled, and when I said “fine,” she rudely tossed it back to the pickup station, and left. To top it off, the coffee itself tasted burnt, and I know the taste well from my experience making coffee at cafe. It was over-extracted, which made it bitter and unpleasant. It’s a shame because the coffee could have been much better if it had been brewed properly. It’s one thing to be busy; it’s another to treat customers with disrespect. The situation was disappointing not only because of her attitude, but also because the manager (a male barista with dark short hair and beard) was present and seemed unconcerned, even smirking alongside her, which made the experience feel even more dismissive. I left feeling upset, and to be honest, I began to wonder if it was because I was new to their shop, or perhaps because I am Asian. I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but the treatment I received felt very personal and uncalled for. I won’t be returning to this coffee shop. With the prices they charge, I’d much rather enjoy my coffee somewhere that values friendly, professional service and takes care in making the coffee right. It’s clear that the staff here needs to be reminded about basic customer service and respect for their patrons.
